It is a difficult thing to wash hats, especially to wash beanies. It is the safest way to wash by hand. But it is also available to use the washing machine if the hat is very solid. Do not dry after washing knitting hats otherwise,
it will shrink.So how to wash your beanies?


First step: Fill a plastic tub with water. Do not use hot or warm water to wash, otherwise, the hat will fade.
Some materials of the hat will shrink. Just make sure the water soak the hat, or if you just wash a hat or two, a plastic bowl will be enough.


Second step: Pour in the mild detergent. Stir evenly with a plastic spoon to create a layer of foam floating on the water.
If you are washing wool knit caps, it is best to use a special detergent to wash the wool fabric, or you can also use a mild detergent without additives such as blench. In addition,
powdery detergents dissolve directly into wash, so it is the best washing effect.


Third step: Soaking a part of the hat into the water, then malaxate to test whether it will fade or not. Make sure it won't fade.


Fourth step: If the last step does not have any adverse of a fade phenomenon, you can soak the whole hat into water. For regular washing, just soak the hat in water for 30 minutes.
If you get mud or stubborn dust on your hat, you may be soaked all night.


Fifth step: Remove the hat from the water, then turn on the tap water and rinse off the detergent with a large amount of water. Remember to rinse with cold water until the hat is no longer sticky and no foam is visible.


Sixth step：Drain with both hands and pat your hat on a clean dishcloth until no water drops. Do not wring it out, or the cap will twist out of shape.


Seventh step: Hang the beanies in the air, shape it, and lay it flat on a towel. If you want your hat to dry faster, set the fan aside to blow, but don't blow it in hot air with your hairdryer on.
Otherwise, the hat will shrink easily. Similarly, hats should not be placed in direct sunlight.
Must be careful. Do not rub with warm water or force. It can affect the shape of the beanies.
