There are 3 techniques of embroidered patch border: Merrow border, stitch border, and laser cutting border.
They have their own characteristics to meet the needs of customers.

What is a Merrowed border?
The Merrrow border is where the yarn surrounds the edge of the badge and slowly wraps around the edges. It is made by workers one by one through the machine. Its edges are smooth, not easy to loose, delicate and very strong, wearable. The width of the border is about 3mm. This process is very popular with customers. It generally only makes regular graphics such as rectangles, circles, and ellipse. It also has its disadvantage, that is, the shape is too weird, border process will can't be done.


What is a embroidery border?
Embroidery border is the same as stitch border, just the name is different. The embroidery border is produced once with the customer's design. Finally, the worker cut it out with a hot cutting device. If the customer wants to embroidery border, the default embroidery width is 1.5 mm. If the customer has special requirements, we can produce according to the customer's needs. Embroidered border on the embroidered side can be patterned in any shape. And the edge are firm and reliable, and can be perfectly combined with clothing. Most of the embroidered patches on the hot melt adhesive are embroidery border.

What is a laser cutting border?
Ptaches' edges are cut by laser. Can cut any shape. But there are not many customers who do laser cutting border. Because it may have the risk of hair edge.
