What's leather edge oil ?

Written By Manager
Leather label or leather tag oil edge is a very common process. Whether it is a PU leather label or a leather leather label, it needs to be cut by a regular mold. There will be some roughening around the finished product. Some customers need to increase the oil edge process to reflect the quality of the product.
That universal oil edge process is divided into two types:
1. Thin oil method.

It is literally easy to understand, that is, a thin layer of oil is applied around the leather product. The effect is to let customers see that the color of the surrounding leather is the same as the color of the leather. But the effect around the leather is still rough.
2. Thick oil method.

It's a very thick craft. There is no fluffing around the leather products, and the color is the same as the leather color.

Because leather labels are single-sided trademarks, and then sewn on clothing, hats, etc. The leather labels contacted by our customers are all positive marks. Most customers don't research the back and sides. So if the customer of custom leather label needs oil edge, we will provide thin oil method. The overall effect will not affect the size of leather label.

Most leather tags are double-sided. That is, the front leather and the back leather are sewn together. The overall tag is much thicker than the ordinary tag. So generally such tags need to do thick oil method. Take the overall quality of the tag to the next level!

Our oil edge material is CMC, which is food cellulose. It is non-toxic and tasteless and is a natural product. Please rest assured to use.

If you have any questions about the oil-edge craft and the cloth, please contact us. Looking forward to your mail!
