What's the difference between plain cotton and twill cotton ?
Written By Manager
Many customers do not understand what is a plain cotton printed label and what is a twill cotton printed label. it's actually really easy to explain.
As shown in the figure below, the left side is printed with plain cotton label, and the right side is printed with twill cotton label.
So what's the difference?
1. Their weaving process is different.
Although they are all woven by cotton rope, plain weave warp and weft yarns are interlaced every other time, so the weaving point is the most, and the number of yarn buckling is the most. The gap between them is small, and the yarns are closely aligned.
2. Performance is different.
The appearance of the front and back of the cotton jersey is the same, the surface is flat, the pattern is monotonous, the texture is firm, abrasion-resistant, and the hand feels hard, but the elasticity is small; the denim cotton is denser, thicker, softer, and has better elasticity than plain weave.
The color fastness of the printed trademark and the color effect of the trademark are the same. It mainly depends on which kind of cotton the customers like.
